Our Tamarind Experience
Tamarind and Nami Sushi are located in an area of Deck 10 only accessible by the aft elevators. We dined in the Tamarind one evening during this cruise and have dined in the Tamarind many times over the years as the menus have evolved. We have never dined at Nami Sushi so we cannot comment on this venue, but we did notice there were few dining at Nami Sushi during our visit to the Tamarind.
I ordered Shrimp Tempura as a starter and Wasabi & Soy Crusted Tenderloin as the main course. I had a Passion Fruit Cloud for dessert. We had hot tea to drink. Service was excellent and the food was well prepared and presented. I have no complaints about our experience dining in the Tamarind, but we do miss some of the outstanding menu selections from past years (especially the Jasmine Tea brewed at the table). The Tamarind used to be our favorite specialty restaurant on the ship but no longer is because of the menu changes over the years.
