In-Room Dining
Room Service Dining is available 24 hours a day. Available items vary by time of day, as indicated in the menus below. All In-Room Dining is free except for specialty items indicated in the menu.
Neptune Suite passengers can also order the full dinner menu during dinner hours and afternoon Tea and/or pre-dinner Hors-d'oeuvres for delivery to their suites at specified times arranged through the Neptune Lounge Concierge.

Our In-Room Dining Experience
On this cruise we stayed in a Verandah Stateroom which made In-Room Dining less convenient, so we did take advantage of In-Room Dining. However, we really did not miss it since there are so many other options available throughout the day which we previously had not taken advantage of.
On several previous Holland America cruises we had Neptune Suite accommodations which permitted us to have a few dinners delivered to our suite as well as afternoon tea and pre-dinner Hors-d'oeuvres. All are free to Neptune Suite passengers unless you order specialty items. However, you should always tip the staff delivering your meals. The Verandah table in the Neptune Suite made Verandah dining enjoyable on nice days (as shown in the above photo of one of our previous Koningsdam cruises). There is also adequate space in the interior of Neptune Suites to make indoor dining just as enjoyable. In our former cruises the Neptune Lounge also served freshly squeezed orange juice as well as cappuccino and expresso. And of course, there is the constant flow of food available throughout the day in the Neptune Lounge. Complementary freshly squeezed orange juice and mimosas are also available on the in-room dining breakfast menus for Neptune Suite passengers.
