Returning to the stateroom after dinner to find a freshly-made up room, complete with chocolates, a room service menu for breakfast and a new towel animal, all arranged on a turned-down bed, is a Holland America tradition. It's a little hard to photograph a white animal on a white bed, but the shades of white are a little different, so the photos work pretty well. These are all iPhone photos.
Room Steward Jese's animals were sturdy and not too hard to move over to a table-top. He tended to leave 4 or 5 there all the time, removing any that were unfolding or taking away older ones to make room for the new ones.
