We really enjoy the food on Holland America ships, and usually we choose to eat in the dining room. The Lido is convenient when we come in from being ashore and it's past lunchtime, and occasionally we'll pick up a midafternoon snack which is usually, for me, the famous bread pudding (with lots of custard sauce!). Usually though we like to go to the Main Dining Room and let someone else bring our choices to us.
My top three dining room favorites: cold soups, the bread selections, and the fresh fruit. George's favorites would include many of the beef and seafood selections and the dinner rolls.
It's rare for us to take a camera to where we're going to eat, and if we do, it's likely to be an iphone so the photos aren't as good.
