(April 1 2012) We flew into Tampa via Miami the night before the cruise. Our hotel, the Tampa Marriott Waterside, assigned us to an absolutely gorgeous room! The room was spacious, but the most amazing thing was its balcony. The room was at the end of the corridor overlooking the Ybor Channel, where the Tampa Cruise Terminal is located, so the balcony's view was of the water. The size of the balcony was amazing! We could have easily hosted a party for 25-30 people out there.
When we woke on the morning of April 1 and stepped out onto our balcony we could see that our ship, the ms Ryndam, had indeed come for us. We ate breakfast out on the balcony, enjoying the view, before heading over to the ship for an early embarkation.
