"The Dining Room continues to offer two seatings and menus that highlight the dishes of Holland America Line’s Culinary Council. A full vegetarian and vegan alternative menu is available upon request and features naturally healthy ingredients in vibrant, flavorful culinary selections. The grand wine tower on Koningsdam stretching between the two decks of the restaurant is a stunning focal point."*

Club Orange

Open for Breakfast and Dinner to Neptune Suite and Club Orange Passengers. Same menu as Main Dining Room with a few additional menu items each day.

"When Holland America Line recently introduced the new Club Orange program for Pinnacle and Neptune Suite guests, as well as for purchase by a limited number of guests, one of the perks included is the use of the exclusive, intimate Club Orange restaurant. On Koningsdam, Club Orange is a stand-alone venue that is open for breakfast and dinner for Club Orange guests, serving the same menu featured in the Dining Room. The menu also includes additional daily dishes exclusive to the Club Orange restaurant."*

Pinnacle Grill

Added cost steakhouse with menu of prime steaks and seafood. Open for Lunch and Dinner with added cost of $39 per person for Dinner and $15 per person for Lunch. Mariner and package discounts apply. Selected items on menu are additional cost. Surcharge of 18% applies to paid drinks.

"The award-winning Pinnacle Grill showcases Pacific Northwest cuts of beef and other traditional steakhouse favorites, along with exclusive dishes by Culinary Council Member David Burke. Burke’s appetizers include Pastrami Salmon and Clothesline Candied Bacon; Beef Tenderloin with Lobster Dumplings; Braised Short Ribs with Mushroom Orecchiette; and Broiled Lobster with Corn and Bacon Crepes. Guests with a sweet tooth can indulge in Burke’s Gourmet Cheesecake Lollipops. Culinary Council Member Jacques Torres’ Chocolate Soufflé is featured on the Pinnacle Grill menu as well.

Pinnacle Grill also offers classic favorites and new items on the revamped menu. New options include a 16-ounce Dry Aged Delmonico steak, Corn-Fed Chicken Breast, Baked Alaskan Halibut, Seared Jumbo Scallops and several new appetizers and desserts. The menu offers vegetarian options, as well. Pinnacle Grill is available for a surcharge."*

Canaletto

"Adjacent to the Lido Market dining area, every evening the festive Canaletto features an Italian “sharing” dinner experience that offers a variety of dishes to enjoy with family and friends. The menu was conceived out of a desire to slow down the meal and create a more authentic Italian experience. All pasta served in Canaletto is made fresh on board, and new appetizers include Grilled Calamari with salsa Verde and lemon herb Panagrattato and Melanzane Ripiene. Dining at Canaletto carries a fee."*

Tamarind & Nami Sushi

"Praised by Condé Nast Traveler for cuisine “that rivals the top restaurants on land,” Tamarind is the perfect place to explore the culinary traditions of Southeast Asia, China and Japan. The menu, which honors the elements of water, wood, fire and earth, has recently introduced several news dishes, features such exotic fare as wok-seared lobster, caramelized hamachi clay pot, Mongolian barbecue lamb chops, crispy duck with ginger chili glaze and dan dan noodles, accompanied by chilled or heated sake."*

Rudi's Sel de Mer

"Rudi’s Sel de Mer is an intimate French brasserie aboard Koningsdam that serves an a la carte selection of classic seafood dishes with a modern twist. Re-creating a setting reminiscent of the finest casual French restaurants, Rudi’s Sel de Mer is the namesake of Holland America Line’s Master Chef Rudi Sodamin. New menu items include Marinated Lobster, Duck À L’Orange and a Grilled Seafood Platter. The menu also features daily specials and desserts. Rudi’s Sel de Mer carries a surcharge."*

Marney loved the Bread Pudding at the Lido and had it on many days. Both of us enjoyed the wonderful ice creams (dishes and cones).

"Lido Market offers different themed stations with an array of delicious options that guests can grab on the go or have quickly made to order. The range of choices includes specialty stations such as Breadboard, with fresh-baked breads and pastries made on board from scratch; Wild Harvest, offering a bountiful selection of ingredients for made-to-order salads; Homestead, serving up comfort classics; Distant Lands, featuring exotic flavors from around the globe; Market Central, serving continental breakfast or light meals to go; Perk, with freshly brewed coffee, hot and iced tea, and chilled juices; and Sweet Spot, dishing up delightful ice cream creations and desserts."*

Marney and I both enjoyed the wonderful Cannonball. Burger with fries.

"For a perfectly grilled burger on a brioche, gourmet hot dog, crispy French fries or a taco bar with all the fixings, there’s no better place than Dive-In at the Terrace Grill, offering al fresco dining by the pool. Look for imaginative toppings and piquant sauces to enliven classic burgers and dogs made to order, along with options such as a grilled chicken breast sandwich or a veggie-friendly portabella mushroom stack."*

New York Deli &Pizza

"At New York Pizza, guests can get a specialty sandwich or custom-made thin-crust pie in less than 10 minutes. The complimentary venue features signature 9-inch pizzas or a “build your own” option that are made to order, as well as two signature salads for a perfect starter course. In the evening, the dedicated seating outside is transformed into a pizzeria so guests can choose to eat at the venue or take it to go. On Koningsdam the venue is New York Deli & Pizza, also serving made-to-order sandwiches."*

Gelato

"Gelato is the place to satisfy the craving for a cool and creamy treat on Koningsdam. Holland America Line partnered with the renowned Carpigiani Gelato University to train the ship’s crew in the art of gelato making, so each flavor is expertly crafted onboard and served fresh. Several gelato flavors are featured each day, with a rotation of options depending on the ship’s location. Homemade ice cream, popsicles, waffle cones, sundaes, floats, shakes and malts also are served at the poolside venue. Gelato’s treats are available for a charge."*

We loved the Dutch Pea Soup (Erwtensoep) an Dutch Hot Chocolate drink.

"Vibrant shades of blue and white converge with the silhouettes of charming Amsterdam buildings in the whimsical Grand Dutch Café. Located on Deck 3 at the top of the Atrium on Koningsdam, the venue is a nod to Holland America Line’s rich heritage and the ideal place to grab Dutch-themed snacks or beverages, with Heineken beer on tap. Snacks are complimentary for guests ordering a beverage."*
