Hubbard Glacier is in the Kenai Fjords Park. The glacier extends through eastern Alaska and into Canada and frequently calves ice pieces as tall as a ten-story building. On the day we were there the number and size of ice pieces in the water prevented our ship from getting as close to the glacier as had been hoped, but the views were spectacular nevertheless.
